How do I search with Partridge?

You can use Patridge for two distinct operations. Patridge allows users to add search constraints that query the text of each paper for a specific term, or you can use filters, filtering out papers based on their type – Research, Review, Case Study etc.

When you first open the Patridge query interface, you are presented with a list of all of the papers in the database in the order that they were added. You can start refining your search by adding search constraints into the box at the top of the form and clicking the ‘+’ button to the right.  You can remove a constraint at any time by using the ‘x’ button next to the constraint you wish to delete on the list to the left.

You can use constraints to search for phrases that appear within certain CoreSCs or search by author name by using the selection box at the top of the page before clicking the button to add the constraint. This may be helpful if you are looking for a paper with a specific phrase in its hypothesis or a specific experimental method within its methodology section.
